Background

People's Relief and Development Programme (PRDP) is a non-governmental, and non-partisan public benefit organization, headquartered in Lilongwe, Malawi. It was founded on August 17, 2021, and registered with the Malawi Government as a company limited by guarantee on 29th June, 2023; and its registration number is COYG-YMF82V.

PRDP implements charity and commercial projects that are tailored to meet the specific needs of Malawi's population, with a particular focus on children, youth, women, and the elderly people in disadvantaged rural communities. These projects encompass a range of areas such as improving agricultural productivity, ensuring food security and nutrition, enhancing healthcare accessibility, advancing education, promoting renewable energy, protecting biodiversity, promoting job creation and economic self-reliance, and providing relief during times of disasters.
